If you’re not familiar, Weave is a new RPG system that is founded on open storytelling, keeping rules to a minimum, and encouraging emergent characters and gameplay. From the website:

Weave is a 21st century storytelling platform for everyone. With just two decks of cards and a handful of dice, you and your friends can create adventures in any genre, from sci-fi to high school comedy. When combined with the free companion app, Weave provides all the power you’ll need to discover new worlds, imagine amazing characters, and save your stories online in minutes.

Did you catch the bit about “high school comedy”? Well, that’s the playset I wrote, called Clique. It allows players to create both fantastic and realistic characters and navigate them through a landscape of drama, relationships, exclusive groups, and adult control. You can play this set like a classic teen movie (Mean Girls), you can go over the top with crazy shenanigans (Superbad), or you can get very real and explore complex teen feelings (Perks of Being a Wallflower). The possibilities are virtually endless, and they become even greater depending on who you’re playing with.

You can get a feel for this playset by checking out these live stream performances:

Clique is included in the base game of Weave, so if you own the game then you can play it right now!
