Played some “Rock Band” at Che`s birthday party over the weekend. Decided my friends needed to be immortalized while playing their rendition of “Hungry Like The Wolf” by Duran Duran. Oh yeah, these are the people I really connect with.
I absolutely love street musicians, and these guys were awesome. There was also a little soft-shoe action, provided by the sax player. The conversation at the end is a man asking me for money.
There is always something cool to see at Pike’s Market, but it might not always be something for sale. This guy, who had a nice array of wood and steel guitars, also had himself a well-tuned saw. He also turns out to be a patriot.
I found out that I could go to Last.fm and then put a little player on my blog. This is good for me, because I’m always trying to tell people about a song I heard and not remember who it was. Look forward to more of these in the future. Enjoy.
